"The Notebook" is centred around a couple who was separated due to World War II. They live across Japan from each other and through their experiences being in each others bodies they slowly love each other. For the second poster of my diptych I wanted to portray an emotionally sad image. To carry the story it leaves an open ending of either breaking up from the relationship, having to be long distanced from a loved one, or experiencing the loss due to death of a loved one. Using a digital camera filter can enhance the warmth of a photo. In regular romance shows and movies, the colours used are very warm to express the warmth from love. I still wanted to incorporate some warmth within my cold and dark palette.
