Mostly grew up listening to Banda, Corridos, and other genres of music in Spanish. My dad is the one who got me into the genre of classic rock when i was a bit older so by default, Creedence Clearwater Revival became one of my favorite bands. The lyrics makes it very easy to understand the message that is getting sent to the audience. This song was written as an Anti-War during the Vietnam War era which was a war that not many Americans agreed to fight in or agreed with sending soldiers to fight it. To the intended audience, this song means peace and uncovering the things the governments. It is more of an "eye-opener" for the audience.
