Philosophy was my major, and I graduated with my degree from the University of California, Riverside.

Why did I choose this major? Premise: I wanted to be a Police Officer before college. But in reality, I simply wanted to help people. So, obviously I did Sociology in College, but it simply wasn't for me. I was stuck; I needed a major. I ended up having a Philosophy class, and the professor worked my brain in a way it rarely was. It was that special euphoria, but now that euphoria was constant. I knew what I was going into in regards to typical "What will you do with that?!"; but I wanted to be a police officer. I had no need at the time for a medical degree, law degree, business degree. So, there's stay with Sociology (Criminology focus) and not enjoy my years in College, or I can do something I enjoyed, I felt a personal growth, and something that could last me forever. The ability to be a stronger thinker than I was. So I made the choice. 


Let's go off the headline since this story should be here for those wondering why I'm in Educational training--- FAST FORWARD A YEAR, wow. We just time-traveled... In real-time, I had a moment of clarity. I thought about the future of my family. I never feared being hurt, but I realized....I wouldn't be there for my family if something happened to me. I wouldn't see my child go to his first soccer game, ride his first bike, kiss his first girl [sorry, totally imagining having a boy]. Graduate high school. Become his own form of success. Fall down, get back up. Not only would I miss those; he wouldn't have his father. His whole life, he would be without his own dad. So, I was then in a cross-roads. I knew I couldn't become a police officer, but it was never really my dream. My dream was just to live life and be there for others. How could I do that? I contemplated, I asked others, I searched. I had no idea, was about to just go for Law School, and then I had my new Professor of life-changing qualities. He was great at what he did, and I enjoyed him. He loved what he did, he brought his children, and he seemed happy..helping us. You get the picture. I want the ability to teach, I want to know how to teach, I want as much experience I can so I can simply help others. Maybe I become completely devoted to my students. Maybe the world just calls out to me. Whichever happens, I'll have the skill of Teaching and Mathematics, and whether I'm out there, or I'm here, I can help others in a form I enjoy. Let's get to the juicy ones. Hiking! Beautiful. Music! I was the lead throughout my life for Orchestra and Concert Band, and the instrument?! Clarinet =) It's really just beautiful. Intense hobbies you ask? No details on this; but the ocean :) Anyways, in general, I enjoy pretty much anything. I can sit down and read a book [fiction preferably], and I can go out and have fun. I'm still young, but I really just want to go out into the world (without a plan HAH!) and just see how things go. I need to make sure I do have a skill [Mathematics and the ability to teach.
