if I was a listener of the announcement, I would try to check other sources to see if it was reported somewhere else, and ask others if they think it was true. you could also assume that it was fake, especially if it was Halloween and only one radio station had been reporting it

Most likely I'd be pretty mad at myself considering that there were multiple warnings that it was just a play and not a real invasion none the less it sent the whole nation crazy so it was probably very realistic "despite the warnings that it was only a play throughout the start middle and end" "perhaps the play had been a bit too realistic"

If I was the listener I would check the internet for more evidence about this announcement. On page 4 it says "intended as a Halloween prank."

Also on page 6 it says "News only came from a few sources."

I would feel a little bit scared because if was in the 1920's then I would most likely believe it.

On page 5 it says "Later, people said the presentation was, perhaps a little too convincing"

I would have tried to run away, terrified of the fact that aliens are taking over Earth. On page 5 it says " Reports of listeners piling into cars to escape the invasion and of people dropping from Heart attacks spread almost as quickly as the broadcast itself." also on page 4 it says " Ironically, even the news about the public's reaction to the fake news bulletins was overblown"

If I were a listener I would not believe the news but I would believe it as a radio show since I would be used to listening to radio shows . I think this because in the text it says, "The fact that it was a fictitious play was announced at the start, midpoint, and end of the broadcast." If I were to listen to the broadcast (without knowing it was fake), I would feel like it was true. On page 4 it says "That night, reports of fear and panic filtered into police and emergency phone lines across the country, as many believed Martians had invaded Earth." This shows that I would believe aliens invaded Earth because many people also believed it. On page 5 it says "Later, people said the presentation was, perhaps a little too convincing."

I would most likely not believe the broadcast because while I do believe in other creatures living out there, I do not believe that they would come to our solar system or our planet, and If there is different lifeforms out there they would most likely be very far away from our solar system, also the person who did the broadcast said that the broadcast was fake 3 times. in the text it said "The fact that it was a fictitious play was announced at the start, midpoint, and end of the broadcast" This evidence shows that the radio play announced that it was fake 3 times so I would most likely hear that and realize its fake. the text also says "the science fiction novel had been adapted into a radio play" this evidence shows that the radio play was already based off a fake story so it would be easy to recognize that it was a fake story. All in all, I would not believe that the radio broadcast is real for many different reasons.

if I didnt knew that the martian invasion was fake new would think that it might be true but I also well be panicked by the announcement. I know this because on page 5 it says "while many were genuiley alarmed by what they had heard greatly exaggerated reports if mass hysteria and nation wide panic where reported by most newspaper." that shows me that people where scared by of what people are hearing on tv. and also on page 8 it says"reports of listenrs pulling in cars to escape the Invaisn and of people dropping form heart attacks spread almost as quickly as the broadcast it slef." that shows that people have heart attacks from beacuase they thought it was real and they where scared. all and all that why iw would be scared cause a lot people welll be panicking.

if I was a listener of the fake martian invasion broadcast I would feel really scared and probably freak out I would think its true. on pg 4-5 it says "the war of worlds broadcast was a drama staged live by actors using sound affects" since the broad casts was using sound affects I would think its real. in the text pg 4-5 it also says it says "convincingly portraying the series if fake news bulletins across the nation" I the broad cast was spreading across the country I would probably think its real

If I were to listen to that broadcast I would probably be scared but suspicious as not everything is true from a not trustworthy radio so I would probably investigate anything backing the radio up. I know that the broadcast is suspicious because in the text it says "intended as a Halloween prank, the broadcast fooled many indeed". This shows that it was a broadcast and not the actual news but was like one. another evidence confirming the broadcast was not the news is "convincingly portraying the series of fake news bulletins in a show heard across the nation". This shows it is fake news. In all, I would be scared at first but I would probably do investigation and see if its actually real.

yes I believe in aliens because there are over a billion galaxies in out universe its possible that a few of them can support life including aliens. and there are a lot of documentaries about possible ufos a.k.a aliens. not to mention AREA 51 Has a lot of aliens

I would feel relived that it was fake but also a bit mad because i wouldent want someone to lie and make fake news about Martian invasion. on page 4 it said " as many beived martian had invaded earth. but heres the catch. none of it was real. the brodcast was an abaptation of the worlds that told of an alien invasion on earth." this show me that i would be reiled but also a bit mad. on page 5 it said " later people said the presontation was a litte to convicing. reports of liseners pilling into cars to escape almost as quickly as the brodcast itself. this shows me how i would be relived but also a bit mad becasue i wouldnet was someone to lie and make a fake brodcast about martion invasion. All in all this is how i would feel if someone made a lie about fake news of martians invading.
