The fennec fox is adapted to life in the desert. They are mostly found in the Sahara desert. Environmental factors that affect the organism include: temperature, supply of water, food availability, and habitat degradation.

So the fennec fox can survive in its environment, they have big ears to break up heat in their body, they have furry paw pads to protect the animals from the hot sand, they also have nocturnal behavior to avoid heat. And because water is scarce in the desert, they have specialized kidneys that conserve water, which they get from the moisture in their food.

They also have great hearing so they can detect if there’s an animal near them or not, and they can camouflage to hunt or to hide from animals. The features that I already listed helps them overcome the environmental factors I mentioned above.
