SOLEHAH [6C] the benefits between a hawker Centre compared to cafe and restaurant

Eating at a hawker Centre is quite an experience. One of the biggest benefits is the variety of food you can find there. It's like a food paradise where you can find all sorts of dishes, from local to international, all in one place to go if you're in a group and everyone wants to eat something different.

Another great thing about hawker centers is how affordable the food is. You can have a satisfying meal without spending as much as you would in a cafe or restaurant. It's perfect for everyday meals or if you're on a budget.

Hawker Centres are also a big part of Singapore's heritage. When you eat there, you're not just having a meal, you're also experiencing a part of the local food culture. Plus, despite the crowd, the service is usually fast. You place your order within minutes, your food is ready.

The atmosphere in hawker centers is relaxed and casual. You don't have to dress up or worry about table manners. You find a table, order your food, and enjoy.

However, cafes and restaurants have their charm. They provide a more comfortable environment, often use higher-quality ingredients, and serve more sophisticated dishes. It depends on your mood and what you're craving for.

With Apple’s latest and greatest device known as the Apple Vision Pro, users of Apple devices are ecstatic. Costing about $4000, the new and improved gadget is gaining more and more popularity. However, what if we look at the learning aspect of this device? I feel that despite the Vision Pro being useful, it has its pros and cons. I feel that this device is useful because students can access educational platforms such as Student Learning Space (SLS) through Safari without physically having to hold anything. This also reduces the chances of the device getting damaged by the students. Now, I would like to talk about the negative aspects on the topic. Students can access other sites to play games or watch videos while the teacher is teaching. The teacher will not even be able to know as the student’s screen is visible to the student only. This device can also cause neck pain and headaches if worn for too long.

Now, I would like to talk about another topic on the Vision Pro: Privacy. The Vision Pro may have access to private information such as bank account details, phone numbers and many more. The headset can also scan your face and make an AI version of your face, especially while using apps like FaceTime. Can you imagine how creepy that is?

Lastly, I would like to end off with another important topic which has gotten everybody out there thinking: Are humans becoming too reliant on technology? I have seen some restaurants having robots take up the job of a waiter, as well as a cleaner. Instead of cleaning their homes the regular way, many people are using cleaning robots to clean their homes. I feel that in generations to come, people will become overly reliant on robots to do all their work for them and in a crisis where all robots just stopped working, they will not know how to cope with the situation.

Now that I have voiced out my opinion, what can you do to contribute to a better future?

What is APPLE VISION PRO for?

The headset is capable of running popular APPLE apps, including BOOKS,CAMERA,CONTACTS,FACETIME,MAIL,MESSAGES,

MUSIC,NOTES,PHOTOS and SAFARI and other apps.Apple Vision Pro will be used in the future around at year 2024,which is this year. We can use it in 13 years old or older.

It is available in United States.I think it would be useful at the classroom so that when you never submit your homework, your teacher can look up at where you are living and find you and let you do your homework in face to face without calling the parents. But in another side,I think Apple Vision Pro can be unuseful to use at classroom as Apple Vision Pro can be type of A.I. When students encounter in questions that they don’t know, they might use the Apple Vision Pro to help them by looking down due to technology,A.I)Then, they will be able to solve it when they actually does not know how to.

Apple's new device, the Apple Vision Pro, can improve students learning experiences. However, like everything, it has its pros and cons. It encourages active learning, which improves critical thinking and lifelong learning too. However, it makes your eyesight worse. Apart from that, it might not provide a good experience for everyone because people who wear glasses might find it uncomfortable. It is priced at around a whopping 4000 dollars, so many schools may only be able to buy a few. The money spent on them could instead be used to help students who cannot afford books buy them. However, if used, they could do good. For example, if a school is emphasising the importance of environmental friendliness, a competition could be held between classes and the winning class could get to use them first, promoting friendly competition and resulting in classes working together.

"Apple Vision Pro" could transform classroom learning with augmented reality (AR), offering engaging educational experiences. It helps students understand complex ideas visually, tailors learning to individual needs, and encourages teamwork. However, there are challenges. It can be expensive and may not always work smoothly. If not used carefully, it might distract students and make them rely too much on technology. Also, not all students may have access to it equally. To make the most of it, teachers need to integrate AR wisely into lessons, balancing digital skills with traditional learning. They should also ensure everyone has a fair chance to use it. While "Apple Vision Pro" has great potential, it's important to use it thoughtfully to enhance learning effectively. We should maintain our screen time use every day. Yes, as
humans rely heavily on technology for various aspects of life, from communication to transportation. While technology brings convenience and efficiency, it also raises concerns about overdependence. Excessive screen time and decreased face-to-face interaction are some downsides. Balancing technology use with real-world experiences is crucial to avoid negative impacts on health and social connections. Thank You:)

The potential usefulness of Apple's new device, Apple Vision Pro, in primary school children's learning depends on various factors. Augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) technologies can enhance educational experiences by providing immersive and interactive learning environments. However, the effectiveness of these technologies in the classroom depends on how well they are integrated into the curriculum and the specific educational objectives they support.

On one hand, Apple Vision Pro could offer students opportunities to explore concepts in science, history, and other subjects through virtual simulations and interactive experiences. It could also cater to different learning styles, engaging students who may struggle with traditional teaching methods. Additionally, AR/VR technologies can foster collaboration and critical thinking skills as students work together to solve problems in virtual environments.

However, there are also potential drawbacks to consider. Firstly, the cost of implementing and maintaining AR/VR technology in schools could be prohibitive for some institutions. Additionally, there may be concerns about screen time and its impact on children's development, as well as potential distractions in the classroom. Moreover, the effectiveness of AR/VR applications depends on the quality of content and instructional design, which may vary widely.

In conclusion, while Apple Vision Pro has the potential to enhance primary school children's learning experiences, its success in the classroom will depend on careful implementation, teacher training, and consideration of its impact on student learning and development.

As for the second question, whether humans are over-reliant on technology is a topic of ongoing debate. Technology has undoubtedly transformed various aspects of our lives, from communication and education to healthcare and entertainment. While technological advancements have brought numerous benefits and conveniences, there are also concerns about the over-reliance on technology and its potential negative consequences.

On one hand, technology has increased efficiency, productivity, and access to information, enabling us to accomplish tasks more quickly and effectively. It has also revolutionized industries and created new opportunities for innovation and economic growth. Moreover, technology has connected people across the globe, facilitating communication and collaboration on a scale never seen before.

However, there are also concerns about the overuse of technology and its impact on human relationships, mental health, and societal well-being. Excessive screen time and dependence on digital devices have been linked to issues such as decreased physical activity, sleep disturbances, and social isolation. Moreover, reliance on automation and artificial intelligence raises questions about job displacement and the erosion of certain skills and competencies.

In conclusion, while technology has undeniable benefits, it is important to strike a balance and be mindful of its potential drawbacks. Rather than being inherently good or bad, technology's impact depends on how it is used and integrated into our lives. Finding ways to harness technology for positive outcomes while mitigating its negative effects is essential in navigating the complex relationship between humans and technology.

I think that the Apple Vision Pro can be both good and bad for society.

First, let us talk about the good side. The Apple Vision Pro can be used for a more productive work or study session, one without any distractions. Also, you can use the Apple Vision Pro to watch movies or play games and feel like you are actually there. I feel like this would work best with Virtual Reality (VR) games. You can have another app right beside you in case you need to refer to it. This is probably way more convenient than switching tabs on a computer. Overall the Apple Vision Pro makes you feel like you are living in the future.

Now, the bad side. The Apple Vision Pro makes apps way more accessible. All you have to do is pinch and activate the app. This could result in people devoting to much time to video games instead of healthy activities like jogging. People may isolate themselves from their loved ones since with the Apple Vision Pro you can just click a button and not see your surroundings at all. This could be detrimental to the social part of society. Finally, the Apple Vision Pro is heavy and may affect your physical health.

All in all, depending on the improvements Apple makes on this device, it could go either way.

Although technology is advancing everyday, some of us are over reliant on technology. I feel that there are pros and cons about using it. An example of a pro is teachers using tablets to teach the class. This can engage the students’ attention better. Another example of a con is when we have to much screen time before sleeping. This is because by using it in class students my get distracted causing the decrease in their test scores .Because you will be on the googles a lot you would have access to a lot of screen time which will progressively ruin your eyesight. The Apple Vision Pro is quite expensive as well so if each class receives only one of the goggles then. Some students may find it unfair as their classmates could have more opportunities than them to experience wearing the goggles. These days I think that we are over reliant on technology as we are letting it do more jobs which can get to the extent where it becomes dangerous.

Some examples of pros are that people do not need to spend a lot of money on other devices as they also cost a lot of money.(more than the Apple Vision Pro). Some examples of cons are that it can make your vision poorer. As most adults say, keep the screen one arms length from your eyes, however, no we have the Apple Vision Pro.
