-Learning from other accelerators and incubators. How do we link them together - is it regional, topical, etc.

-What is the impact that nonprofits have when they're working with small businesses. Having an "impact framework" that can show the wider impact on the community.

-Many small businesses on the Cape are involved in the nonprofit community by giving and in-kind donations.

• Access to capital - exploring nontraditional funding options. Are there smaller nonprofit funders to connect?

• Small businesses can access first entry point, but then need more support as they grow and that support isn't always there when trying to make the transition to traditional funding sources.

• How does housing impact? Especially for people working out of their homes. Does renting vs. owning impact access to funding?

• United Way: Shared Service model to offer services for providers.

• Funder collaboratives act as intermediaries to bridge the gap.

• PNC Bringing together the bank and foundation sids of the work to ensure support for the small business ecosystems.

• Opportunity to collaborate to address some of the challenges that were mentioned in the intro.

• Looking towards the opportunity to support the small business community as it relates to childcare. Ability to step back and complete a landscape analysis many of the businesses are local but could be sustained nationally.

• Some funder collaborative in childcare businesses but opportunities to share learnings more broadly.

• Wearing a lot of different hats, logistics, consensus building, biggest barrier in the collective to define a north star to make use of the sum of our parts. Finding the intersectionality of the work, in a way that does not bog down process.

• Important to have a solid understanding of the intricacies of the needs. How do we hear from the people doing the work. Ex. family childcare, need for startup capital, through-line could be lets work with funders that will support with startup capital. If funders move forward with loans, loans are not the need.
