Vapors from a boiling solution are passed along a column. The temperature of the column gradually decreases along its length. Components with a higher boiling points condense on the column and return to the solution; components with a lower boiling points pass through the column and are collected. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Magnetism is a form of separating mixtures which involves using a magnet to attract another magnetic object away from the substance it is in. Some examples of separating magnetic substances from non magnetic substances are: separating iron nails from glass chippings and separating iron paper clips from brass ones.</strong></div><div><strong>Magnetic separators are used in factories. Materials are put on a conveyor belt that is spun by magnetic wheels. It picks up the things that it likes, and resists the materials it does not like. For example if someone has a magnet and puts it close to iron it draws closer to it, but if one puts the same metal close to a pencil it does not do anything but remains the same way.</div>]]></description>
