point-That Will is not close to his father.
Proof-Because in one of the chapters Will was cought wearing pink underwear and the principle took him to the office and they called his father, when he came the father didn't say "are you okay" or you want help" he litterly gave him a outfit and said "Put it on".
Comment- Will and his father aren't that's close. Just by Wills father not asking if Will wants to go home just proves to us that maybe, Wills father doesn't like that he 'fools' around, because when his father was called and he saw Will he looked silly. Also because hes a professer and he wants his son to get  suesfull in life. We wonder if they where ever close before? Point: Shane gets abused at home.

Proof: Devon saw Shane's bruises in ``the change room. Dark purple ,the new ones and yellow the old ones fading away. Shane is always the first one in and the first one out of the change room because he doesn't want anyone to see his bruises.
He also doesn't have good relationship withe his step-dad, we know this because Shane's step-dad was swearing and yelling at him when he was going to school.

Comment: We think that the reason he bullies kids at school is him getting abused at home.He takes his anger and frustration from his parents and puts it out on other people.

Point-Will says he thinks his dead Mom is looking over him(Knows what he does or what happens to him).

Proof- His Mom died from cancer and his dad does not care for him because he does not feel bad for him when he get's bullied and does not feel happy for him when he accomplish's anything..
