         <description><![CDATA[<div>Iceberg lettuce or the purple cabbage can be used a PH indicator due to the fact that it has a specific pigment in it. The pigment is called flavin and can be found in apple skin, grapes, cornflower etc... Whenever a flavin is added to the solution, it will react with colour and that can indicate the PH of the solution. The colour varies from Violet(alkali solute) to Scarlet or DarkdRed (acidic solute). So we can determine PH values of solutions with just household items.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
