Status Podcast • Stories about immigration and how it affects the people we love

With this podcast, I can use the various stories to help my students to better understand the struggles that immigrants experience. I would implement this by choosing a podcast episode that is similar to content within the novel we are reading at the time. This would help the students to be able to put a real-world perspective into what we are reading. By making these connections, they can look for additional stories on their own and look more into these struggles and what could possibly be done to help immigrants.

This resource is good for exploring the different ways that various cultures and historical world events have impacted art. It also includes 3D tours of various museums and historical landmarks.

This is an effective resource when teaching history. It can be used to provide examples beyond what a textbook provides of how different events affect art and cultural happenings. Through this, it demonstrates the differences in what values and subjects are important within different cultures. These changes in styles will help to tell a story of events by giving visual examples of what was happening at the time.

It can be used both in and outside of a classroom

This website can be used by teachers in various subjects. It allows students and teachers to be able to learn from and collaborate with other teachers and students from around the world. They can share the similarities between what they learn and teach each other about some of the differences. An example of this would be students in an English class teaching about the books they read that may not be available in other parts of the world.
