-We learned about the objectives of barefoot counseling.
- The 5 stages to become a professional and the goals and process of barefoot counseling. 
- We also learned about mental health and the reasons for mental illness.

Day 2 
-On the 2nd day we covered the basic approaches in counselling which includes 
1. Cognitive approach
2.Psychoanalytical approach
3.Behavioural approach
4.Systemic approach 
5.Humanisitc approach 
- We also learned about solution focused breif therapy.
-Next we had an activity of self introspection and learnt the different typs of questions. 
-The session was ended with SWOT analysis.

Day 3
- This session we learned about mental health in detail and the signs and symptoms of it. 
-We covered about cognitive and social stress management.
- In the second session we gained an understanding about the 5Cs and barriers of communication. 
- We ended the session with an interactive activity which reflected the importance of listening. 

Day 4 
- This session was started of with the introduction of reality therapy and choice theory.
- Next we discussed about the Cognitive behaviour therapy and principles,steps involved using CBT.
- Session was concluded with the risks and challenges of CBT.

Day 5
- The session begined with the potential risks faced by mental health professionals. 
-Next topic was boundaries that need to be maintained or followed as professionals. 
- We learnt about Mandatory reporting and POSH which is known as The Sexual harassment of Women at Workplace ( Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act 2013 and POCSO act which is the Protection of Children from Sexual offences established in 2012.

At the end of the day I gained information about various different topics and ideas along side while learning about Barefoot Counselling.
