Notice: I was looking at Brittany Smith and Saadiquah Ayler's RAK project. Brittany's project is the American Red Cross and Saadiquah's project is US Army Reserves.
1. I see the connections between the needs, there are not enough people for the job. Like Saadiquah's project, it says the NCO officers are having trouble training that many people by themselves. They need to have more people to help them. Same goes with Brittany's project, she says there are not enough people to help with the volunteers. They both claim they need more people and that's exactly the solution.
2) Both agencies do have the same problems with not enough people helping out. The differences is the agencies itself. The American Red Cross is completely different from the US Army Reserves. They both are to help others in different ways. Brittany and Saadiquah's project are well done and I can relate with both of there needs because I had the exact same need also.

Joseph Famularo and Brittany Smith's projects were very good! Famularo volunteered at an homeless shelter, while Smith volunteered at the Red Cross.
1- The connections with the Red Cross and the Homeless Shelter are that they both focus on helping people in need. The need for Smith is for the Red Cross to have more volunteers, and to also have an orientation so that the volunteers can understand their purpose of helping out. Meanwhile, Famularo's issues were also to have more people to help serve food for the patrons, and also great advertising.
2- The differences are that the Red Cross has international services, does blood drives, and helps with disaster relief. The homeless shelter helps people who don't have a place to stay and can't find any food within the community.
Joseph Famularo and Brittany Smith both did an amazing job. Not just volunteering with these programs, but on their presentations as well. As a member of the service I can appreciate what they both did. They're heroes of their communities!

Joseph Famularo and Saadiquah Ayler's projects were awesome! I really enjoyed learning about both of the agencies that they worked for. Joseph volunteered at the Homeless Shelter and Saadiquah volunteered at the U.S. Army Reserves.
1. In both projects, there is a connection between needs; there is not enough people for both agencies. In Joseph's agency, there was constantly not enough people who regularly came to help out at the homeless shelter. In Saadiquah's project, she mentions that there are not enough commanding officers to train all the newer officers in boot camp. Both agencies obviously need more people to help out which is a big solution to both of the agencies needs.
2. The difference between both agencies is the way that they help the public. The Homeless Shelter helps those who do not have a home. The agency gives food and shelter to those who do not have it. The U.S. Army Reserves trains soldiers to go out and defend our country. Both Joseph and Saadiquah's projects were totally awesome and I am so glad to see that others are helping the community in different ways. Great job guys! :)

Response
Phillip Thomas- Talking Trash-Anti-Litter and Joseph Famularo- The Homeless Shelter.
Some connections I see among the two are the need for more people to donate their time and services to both of the agencies. The seems to be a need for help in both areas especially Littering because I see litter daily on the sides of the roads and highways. If people would take the time out at least twice a year to volunteer in sure that would be of great help. The difference are the two agencies itself because they offer different services.

Erica Stanton and Laura Schauer's projects were very interesting. They also had things in common. They both worked at a childcare center. The way they set up their project was creative too. Both Erica and Lauras project showed that they were wrong about it being a piece of cake and soon learned that working at the centers requires patience. Differences between the agencies they chose would be Erica thinks her center needs better coats for the children, while Laura said the children needed more school supplies like construction paper and tissues. The presentations for both agencies followed up on how much they both enjoyed working

looking at Erica Statons and Anna Adkins powerpoints showed that each childcare center is ran differently, and there is different needs in each daycare. But there is one goal in every daycare and thats to provide for the childrens needs. In Erica's powerpoint she volunteered at daycare Chronicles and they were in need of jackets for the winter time to play outside and not get sick, in Anna's powerpoint she volunteered at Crossroads Baptist church and the daycare was in need of more funds to provide different things for the children.

I reviewed the presentations of Anna Adkins (Crossroads Baptist Church) and Erica Staton (Miss Nancy's Childcare Center).
1) Both agencies revolve around family and children and providing entertainment and safe environments. Both Crossroads Baptist Church and Miss Nancy's childcare are in need of funding and awareness; however, not in exact similarities. Miss Nancy's children are in need of coats, whereas, Crossroads is in need of all over supplies. Both solutions involve fundraisers. Crossroads has yet to hold a fund raiser, but Miss Nancy's need was addressed and action was taken. The coat bank was an ingenious idea.
2) The differences are the fact that Crossroads as a church has limited sources of income and Miss Nancy's Childcare has a steady flow of incoming payments. The problem is that Miss Nancy's funds go to providing a better staff, supplies, and environment. They do not appear to have the funds to provide extra clothing to the children they keep. It took this project for the need to be assed and confronted.
Most churches depend upon their tithing for funding and it appears that Crossroads is no different. Unlike Miss Nancy's, Crossroads needs to step out into the community and raise the community awareness. It would increase their chance at raising more money in the suggested fundraiser and, possibly, raise their congregation numbers.
