I liked to know about other cultures and to practise English.

I would change the participation of all the class and not some students of them and to groupe the students by the same course participating all of them in the interchange or as so many as they can.

It has been a good experience for the whole family, may be too short to realy take benefit of it. What we think is that it would be more positive for kids from 3rd and 4th ESO (9th &10th). They are too young and they inquietuds to learn about our culture, our political environment, our way of live... it's weak. It's good for them to develop in new situations.

As a host family, is one of the best experiences we have ever had. Having at home a child from a different country and different culture has brought us many interesting things that are sometimes a little hidden, such as serenity, respect, patience and tenderness. Having practiced English all week has been a good way to improve it.

Us as a host family, we value the experience with a very positive and rewarding way of thinking, not only for our children also for the hosted kids. 
Meeting and being able to share life for some days with kids from other countries, other cultures we may say that always leads an enrichment, and at least, helps all of us to understand ways of life of other cultures.
From this meeting meany friendships can come out, ones that may last over the time and the distance.
We feel proud and lucky that our children had the chance to enjoy this opportunity and grateful experience.

For us in Portugal, we could only say that Rafael loved his stay in Villafranca!

Ofcourse that first we must thank the Pujol family for "adopting" him for one week and for being extraordinarily welcoming and for making him feel confortable, as one of them.

Surely in the beginning things weren't so easy (as he is not so much the talking type...), but as he got more aquainted with the family, the school and the whole environment, things got easier and easier!

As most people said, maybe the duration of this experience was too short to benefit from it, but surely it left a mark: for the ages involved (and perhaps being their first experience abroad), we think one week was a fair duration for this experience.

I just hope that next year, when pupils and teachers come to Marinha Grande (Portugal), we will be up to the challenge as well!

For us to stay Ana Margarida it seemed to have been very enriching. Liked the experience, the school for all plumb concentrated in space, even sports, like the city of Vilafranca and Barcelona and be with their friends. Famila loved his host, the girls and we are sure that never any escequerá. As for the Rossell family, we just have to thank all the availability and affection they had with our daughter and even us, were very dear. Now we wait to meet them personally and give back all the love offered.
