The Aqueduct is a bridge that brings water across cities. It was the only source the Romans could think of. The Roman soldiers built these roads because they wanted to help out Rome. So the soldiers decided they would build roads and do the best they could. But they weren't perfect because they didn't have tools to use or have any measurements.

The Romans built buildings because they wanted people to see a really cool building when they come and visit. They had to have a big team of people in order for them to start on the buildings. The Romans built columns so they could over come problems in large buildings. So they decided to make the columns tall so people can think that its a big building.
