         <description><![CDATA[<div>it is a irion based printing method. The vandykes produces earthy tone, black and sepia and rich brown tones. Vandykes are based on Argentotypes. You can make a simple solution including ferric ammonium citrate, siliver nitrate and citric acid.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>solution A)&nbsp;<br>20g of ferric ammonuim citrate&nbsp;<br>50g citric acid and 50ml of distillted water&nbsp;<br><br>mix well and pour into a beaker<br><br>solution B:&nbsp;<br>Made up of 5g silver nitrate and distillted water.&nbsp;<br>mix well and place into a seperate beaker.&nbsp;<br><br>mix the two solutions A and B. Note that once you have mixed these solutions they become light sensitive and you have to work in the dark (dark room)&nbsp;<br><br>Let the solutions settle for a couple of days. *IN THE DARK*&nbsp;<br><br>Then place the paper onto a board and tape the edges down so that they dont move.&nbsp;<br><br>After you have done this pour the solution onto the paper and using a paint brush paint the solution evenly onto the paper. You may want to double coat it. allowing the first coat to dry first.<br><br>You then want your paper to dry, leave it for a couple of days to dry natuarlly. do not use heat on the paper as this will result in fogging.<br><br>Take your paper and expose it to UV light. As soon as you walk out the dark room it will start to change and expose.&nbsp;<br><br>Expose it for about 10 minutes.<br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>Use water colour paper, sugar paper. Any paper that is sturdy and will be less able to rip and shrink (like tissue paper)&nbsp;<br><br>Measure out the ingredents correctly for the solutions&nbsp;<br><br>expose your paper to UV light for longer. Use UV as it is direct and will not move like the sun will (and clouds getting in the way)<br><br>Maybe also fix it for longer? more than 2 mins to achieve brown/yellow tones and result in a better outcome.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>We used different types of paper which ranged from tissue paper to sugar paper. <br>we painted on the solution to the different papers and let them dry in the darkroom for about two days. I then got my paper, i used tissue paper and then placed the format negative behind the paper and clipped it in place. <br>I then exposed it to UV light for six and 10 seconds. This resulted in having yellow brown tones. After i had done this i fixed it in the dark room. This resulted in my paper dissolving, ripping and shrinking. It was a total failure. <br>I now know to use sturdier paper and to expose the paper for longer. Maybe for 10-15 minutes to achieve a better outcome. <br><br></div>]]></description>
