1. China claims sovereignty over most of the Pacific Ocean. 2. The China Sea has connections with the Indian Sea and the Pacific Sea, so there are problems over territory.
3. This conflict has been going on since 2012.
4. A third of all world shipping passes through there, which is why there is the dispute over the South China Sea.
5. Neighboring countries demand their corresponding economic zone, however China does not agree.

1. China has built artificial islands which are illegal under the law.

2. The United States wants to intervene in this conflict, which could be very serious, since it could cause a war between these countries.

3. China's military improvement causes nervousness in many countries, one of them the United States, which is why they want to intervene.

4. In 2016 the United Nations declared that the neighboring islands were considered rocks, in other words they were not taken into account.

5. The Philippines and Vietnam have also built on disputed islands.

6. The United States sends warships to the area, which Beijing does not like.

7. The Biden administration has allies, who are against China.

8. The other Nations decided to focus on their interests because the ones that were most tense were the superpowers China and the United States.

9. There is a high risk that the conflict will grow and there may be much more serious problems, such as a war.

10. There are also disputes over economic issues, given that there is a lot of transport of natural resources through this sea, which generates a lot of income.

1. One of the solutions China did was creat a map named "the nine line" where everybody can have a part maritime territory but they still have problems.
2. For us, a viable solution is for each country to have a selected day or time so that it can transport any product without any problem by territory.
3. Idealism is a solution, since then everyone would be focused on having peace and there would be no tension in these countries.
4. Another solution is for all countries to reach an agreement so that the sea belongs to everyone and thus all can be friendly countries without any inconvenience when exporting or importing products.
5. If the tension grows and becomes a major conflict, the solution may be to suspend the exportation or importation of products in that area for a while so that they reach an agreement and then resume transportation.
