I think students violate commandments 4, 6, and 8 most often. These commandments consist of stealing, piracy, and plagiarism. Many students download free versions of software, copy homework assignments online, or use someone else's work without providing citations.

I think these violations occur because students are lazy and think it's faster to copy work. Some students may not realize that plagiarism is unethical and think because everyone is doing it, it's normalized.

I think that in order to reduce such unethical behavior, schools could provide workshops that educate students on digital ethics. I also believe that schools need to do a better job of encouraging citation tools and digital literacy campaigns. A digital literacy campaign teaches people how to use technology responsibly and effectively.
