Throughout my career, I actively participated in professional development, attending various congresses, seminars, and workshops to improve my teaching strategies and stay up to date with new trends in education and technology. I’ve always believed in being a lifelong learner, and I enjoyed sharing what I learned with my colleagues and applying it in my classes.

Sports have always been a big part of my life. I loved playing basketball and volleyball, and I brought that passion into my teaching. One of my proudest achievements was becoming the first woman to coach a student baseball team in my region. At that time, it was not common for women to lead in sports teams, so it was an important step forward — not just for me, but for other women and girls who wanted to participate in sports leadership. For this and other efforts, I received many recognitions for my dedication and contributions to student sports and inclusive education.

When it comes to technology, I have experience using it to support learning, organize activities, communicate with parents, and promote collaboration among students. Even in Physical Education, technology can play a key role — whether it’s through videos, interactive lessons, or using apps to track student progress and fitness goals. I enjoy finding new ways to make my classes more engaging and meaningful by combining physical activity with digital tools.

These past experiences continue to guide me today. They have shaped my values as a teacher: inclusion, teamwork, respect, and the belief that every child has the potential to grow when given the right support.

From the 1980s to 2020, technology in education advanced rapidly with the rise of personal computers, the internet, and mobile devices. In the 1990s and 2000s, classrooms began using digital tools such as PowerPoint, educational software, and interactive whiteboards. Online learning platforms, video conferencing, and apps like Google Classroom transformed how students learn and communicate. By 2020, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, virtual learning became essential, and technology became a key part of everyday teaching and learning.

I have many hopes about using technology in education. I believe it can help make learning more interesting, interactive, and inclusive for all students. Technology gives teachers more tools to explain ideas in different ways—like videos, games, or online activities. I hope to learn how to use these tools to support students with different learning needs, including those with disabilities. I also hope to use technology to stay organized, communicate with families, and help students stay engaged in physical education through apps and digital resources.

At the same time, I have some concerns. I worry about students becoming too dependent on screens and losing face-to-face social interaction. I also feel unsure about using certain tools, like artificial intelligence or learning management systems, because I don’t fully understand them yet. Another concern is access—some students may not have internet or devices at home. But I believe that with the right training and support, I can overcome these challenges and use technology in a positive and balanced way in my future classroom.
