• The Lord gave the priesthood to Moses, who tried to give it to his people, but they hardened their hearts (v. 23–25).

• Without the priesthood, no man can see the face of God and live (v. 22).

That when we are faithful and obtaining the true priesthoods that he has spoken of we are sanctified by the spirit, we are renewed of our bodies.

• Through priesthood ordinances, like baptism and the temple, the power of godliness is shown in our lives (v. 20–21).

• Because of the priesthood, we can be spiritually reborn, and become children of God (v. 32).

The priesthood will always be on earth and will continue to bless everyone through the generations to come

• The priesthood helps me become part of God’s covenant family—a son or daughter of Moses and Aaron (v. 30).

• Without the priesthood, we couldn’t receive saving ordinances or understand the mysteries of God (v. 19).
