Taking a large amount of painkillers can cause damage over time to the kidneys.&nbsp;</li><li>Is to maintain a healthy weight. Some ways are to be aware of your diet and try to be physically active.</li><li>Not smoking. Specifically, cigarettes have the ability to damage the kidneys or worsen any preexisting damage already.</li><li>Is to balance all your current medical conditions. It is always important to work with your doctor on controlling your medical conditions that increase your risk.</li></ol>]]></description>
