It is usually quite time-consuming to prepare tasks for a given list. wordsmyth.com and online dictionaries are the sources that I use. I also make up games like putting 3-4 target vocabulary items in boxes and students (usually in groups) try to use those words in a sentence to get a box. The group that gets the most boxes win:)

I like the approach- identify the words you know (perhaps only receptively) and then use them in sentences (context given - a picture). But then the students use the incorrect form of the word. This happens to me a lot in class, be it incorrect form/meaning/collocation. Error correction in the video is verbal. I know it takes time, but I think the students have to write the sentences and then take time to correct them. Does anyone agree or is verbal correction enough here?
