The concept of digital citizenship encompasses rights, obligations, protections and ethical standards for behavior and interactions on the world wide web. Educators should teach and model digital citizenship in all curricula. STEM’s reliance on technology and research make the legal and ethical principles of digital citizenship pertinent to the discipline. The laws included in this guide establish the protections for privacy and security.</div>]]></description>
