Digital Citizenship encompasses different topics with many ethics and laws. Privacy and security is a compelling aspect of Digital Citizenship with the most laws.  
Within privacy and security, cybersecurity has become an emerging issue (Dutta & Mathur, 2012). There is an increase interest in protecting national interest with a STEM community prepared with skills to protect privacy and security.
