A business plan forces you to look in an objective manner, which means you're not biased in any way. 

 Identify all the strengths and weakness with S.W.O.T. analysis.  

A business plan helps to show how the business will make money and where/how the money will be put to use.

Helps determine how pricing works in not just the business but everyday items.

One of the most important things I learned was proper dress and eating etiquette. I already knew most of the eating information but the dress helped for professional interviews.

How to write a proper resume, it will help in the future but it is really important because this is a skill I will most likely use all my life, until I retire!

Last but not least,  I learned how determine what is a good business and how to make one work properly, I can use these skills if I want to start my own business but also to help with other people's businesses.

The event that taught me a lot personally was the VEI trade show. With all the different small businesses starting out. It was really interesting seeing how all the different businesses started and what they're selling/providing.

1. Prepare your resume with everything that you've done so far, whether it's service or an other job that you have had before; this is the time to brag about what you have accomplished.
2. Have an elevator speech prepared for when you first start the interview, this should include basic information about yourself that sets you apart from everybody else, to gain interest.
3. Another important thing that the interviewer will see as soon as he looks at you would be what you're wearing. Dress etiquette is very crucial and can make or break your chances at a job. You must dress accordingly to wear you're going, for example, if you're going to an office, you should probably wear a suit.
