Since coming into contact, me and my partner have met once a week for about 3 - 1 hour meetings, as well as exchanging details and developments in our respective work over the course of each week. We've both acknowledged that, even if we don't make much process in a meeting, it's still beneficial in sharing and exploring ideas together physically and helps solidify many of our ideas. On our last meeting, she took my to the NUA illustration studio, which was nice for me to explore ideas and write in a new space.

My partner has shown me multiple illustrations over the course of the and now has each page illustrated. On my side, I have shared with her two drafts, the second of which we both seem very happy with.

Initially, we both shared other work we had done on our previous projects to gain a better idea of the styles / ideas that we work with best respectfully. I sent her a my second short story assignment from last semester.

Because of this, we very quickly found common footing, and found our idea for the book almost immediately within our first meeting. Ths was much swifter than I expected, and I think we've been working together at a similar level of efficiency and ease since.

There haven't been many direct problems in our work, save from the ordinary, occasional misunderstanding.

A recent hurdle that we've been working on is the form the booklet will take, and how each page will work with way it is folded. We have a made the appearance of the book significant, with the front and back pages acting as a kind of juxtaposition and making perfect bookends for the story, the interior will have a continuous flowing landscape, which means that the distribution of pages 2-7 must be connected, and pages 1 and 8 must not. We were confused by this problem for a bit, and my partner created a replica booklet for us to work out. We've since found a way to make it work that we both like.

Aside from that, we've been very easy going and accepting of each others thoughts and we've been mutual about all scrapped ideas. We also have similar interests so understand most of our inspirations and where our ideas come from.
