This is called a "glowing painting". The materials I chose for my toy is a canvas, water based paints and, the wooden frame. The reason why I chose these materials:

Canvas: Some light could pass through it and the light makes it glow in the dark when the bulbs light up.

Water based paints: Some light could pass through it.

Wooden frame: It is sturdy enough to hold the circuit in place.

I made the circuit in parallel so that both bulbs would shine at the same brightness. The concept of the electrical system is that when I close the switch, the battery would produce a current and the current would pass through the wires and to the bulbs and the bulbs would light up.

It is a simple circuit with only one bulb since the house is quite small.

When the door is closed, it is a closed circuit so the bulb lights up. The door act as a switch for the circuit.

This is my toy, Robo 1.2. My toy is also a Halloween themed toy because when I turn on the light, it looks scary. I used cardboard and coloured paper because it is very easy to make my toy with and they are both recyclable materials. I used Play-Doh as the accessories. Here, the eyes are the light bulbs, so when the switch is on, electricity can flow through so the bulbs can light up.I used a parallel circuit because there is a high amount of energy flow so the bulb will be more brighter, unlike that in a series circuit.

Materials used.

-Copper wand with plastic handle for safety.

-Buzzer that makes a sound when the circuit is closed

-Battery

-Battery holder

-Knife switch

-Four wires

-Two plastic holders

-Hard cardboard base

Objective: Try and get the copper wand to not touch the copper wire and get the copper wand through the wire to the other side from one plastic holder to another. If you accidentally touch the copper wire, the circuit forms a closed circuit and makes a "buzz" sound.
