How did he feel when he cut himself with the hatchet? Did he feel better,not anxious?

Connection: I actually used to cut myself when I got mad at someone, so that's why I would wear long sleeved shirts to hide my cuts, but I did stop after I did it once. It connects to the story because in the story Brian said he wanted to die, he grabbed his hatchet and he cut himself, he looked at his wrist or arm and he stares at the dry blood from the cut he made. The cut was technically a cry for help because when you cut yourself your either feeling mad or you want to know if you're strong but it's mostly because you're feeling anxious and mad,or sad.

Brian can possibly climb any near by tree and try to get a plane’s attention or anything else’s attention so he can possibly get rescued .

I can connect to someone on failing with a bow because my brother Patrick failed with one, he pulled the bow back and let go and it hit him in the arm and left red marks. I think that Brian's journal is a good idea because it will give him something to do and keep him sane. Does Brian want to kill himself? Why doesn't he just catch like four out of time and than bring them to the fire.
