Temperature

temperatures are mild, there are many thunderstorms just like foggy winters.

The Haldenbergchapel in Ailingen was planned and built from the carpenter Johann Heinzelmann.

in 1921 the chapel (Kapelle) in the Reinachmühle was broken down carefully and rebuilt on the Haldenberg.

In summer from june to august every thursday at 8 p. m. there is a evening prayer in the chapel.

The chapel is a popular traveling destination, because of the beautiful view. You will be able to see the alps/mountains and the lake of constance.

There are also many hiking ways along the chapel.

The majority of the people in the Terra Alta dedicate their life to the countryside, and they grow the grapes for producing wine in the celler. The farmers of the Lake of Constance region produce fruits and vegetables, mainly apples.

For the lake of constance region there is a own sailing license, the Lake of Constance boatman's patent.

Wind- and Kitesurfing

For advanced windsurfers the Lake of Constnace is very interesting in Spring and in Fall. For trying out or practicing the summer months are perfect.

But kitesurfing is not allowed on the whole lake.
