I don’t watch the news like most people my age but my parents started talking about it and I thought it was something that the news exaggerated about. I didn’t really care until we had to stop a cruise we were going to go on and when I had to go in virtual for school. I got to sleep in for longer and didn’t really go anywhere for a while. I  couldn’t go anywhere or play with anyone I knew and I was just cooped up with my family until our school gave the option to go in person. We didn’t agree with that and I stayed virtual until the end of 7th grade and people started getting tired of covid. I just talked to everyone I knew through FaceTime and when they came to my house I had to say that we were germaphobes and could not do anything. I saw people start leaving their houses and forgetting social distancing and then masks stopped in a lot of places except if you work their. We got joes Biden as our president in 2021 which I couldn’t care less but I kept on seeing ads that trump was cheated on in the election. I thought it was weird because I was a kid who didn’t care about voting or politics that much but I still got these ads. Then other things started happening I guess Putin was bored to so he decided he needed to start some conflict. Then after a while everyone knew about Ukraine they cared about the people’s lives but they couldn’t do anything about it. We didn’t want world war three but if a war is gonna happen we may as well stop it now than later. Once all of that happened we just kind of went on we all know covid exists and that it’s affecting us but all I ever hear about it is in the news. Also when someone is saying something and says due to the world’s current state we can’t do this. Then we just learned to live with covid because there are vaccines for everyone whether your a kid or you have a disease so we just stopped talking about covid. My dad said that the stocks are bad every person even if they aren’t a business isn’t being affected by this. Also that Russia is crazy and they are very irrational and he said Putin doesn’t care what happens to his people.

My sister said that covid has prevented her from talking to her friends and stopped vacations that she swished she could have gone on. Also all the family members we have that are hospitalized because of it.
