In the Iroquois war he introduce an arquebus ( an old firearm) 
What he and the indians took was large quantity of indian corn and meals belonging to the enemy as well as their shields which the enemy had left behind so the had a better chance to run 
In the end of the war they dance, feasted and sung before leaving for home with the prisoners

Iroquois point of view :They were singing and dancing to curses there enemy the next day they saw a man with a strange thing they have never seen before.
