Mona was an outcast when she got the job at the Police Department as a clerk because she was different from everyone else at the police department, she was the only one who was officially in a gang. At the PD Mona was treated differently and, people at the police department thought she was a spy for the Gang. Mona started to get abused by Frank when he brought his friends over and stayed up late with them smoking pot combined with PCP, Mona confronted Frank telling them to leave because Frankie and her needed sleep. Frank took this personally and struck her. A few days pass by and he later apologizes to Mona saying he didn’t mean to, he started to work and bring in his paychecks while no longer doing drugs. However, he started to not bring in a paycheck and instead started bringing in his friends alongside beer and drugs. Mona saw many cases throughout the day that changed her life, the three big ones were; the car crash with the Priest, the little girl who was sexually assaulted, and the woman who got shot on Halloween night.
