Teachers teach students not only lessons that will be useful in everyday life, but they also teach how to dream and how to make their dreams a reality. This quote piques my interest because it perfectly describes how we, as teachers carry out our duties. No matter how slow or fast a learner is, no matter what their capacity is, a teacher must still see a better tomorrow in the eyes of every student. Regardless of their mental ability or differences, teachers must succeed in teaching them to dream and helping them to make their dreams a reality.

As a future educator, having a more profound understanding of The Education Act of 1982: Teacher’s Rights, Duties and Responsibilities, The Magna Carta for Public School Teachers (RA 4670): Teacher Welfare and Privileges and Code of Ethics for Professional Teachers are vital to fulfilling the given responsibility. These 3 concepts really struck me the most throughout the whole semester.

First, through the Education Act of 1982: Teacher's Rights, Duties and Responsibilities, I now comprehend my mission for the student's welfare. Knowing my rights, duties, and obligations as a teacher empowers me to discipline and teach my students to fully fulfill my responsibility. The discussion made me realize that a better understanding of this concept would allow me to serve the children more effectively and efficiently.

Second, as a future educator, the Magna Carta for Public School Teachers (RA 4670): Teacher Welfare and Privileges helped me fully understand my future rights. The act protects the teachers' rights, like the tenure of office, academic freedom, and other benefits. Our educators deserve the benefits; the responsibility of shaping the minds and values of the Filipino youth makes our public-school teachers valuable and indispensable to our society.

Ultimately, teachers are viewed as role models for students, which means that as a future educator, I must maintain a positive image because it will impact the students and the school. Knowing what Code of Ethics to follow will assist me in creating a safe, productive, and positive learning environment in my teaching career. Teachers must maintain high expectations to help all students reach their full potential through meaningful and inclusive participation in the classroom, school, and community.

Sunsets are proof that endings can be beautiful too. This semester is coming to an end, but the lessons we learned in this subject, and the lessons we learned from you, sir Corales, will be highly beneficial to us as future educators. Thank you for your unwavering commitment to shaping our minds into effective educators. I enjoyed every minute of your lecture and your marvelous sense of humor, the minus and plus 20 points. You genuinely care about your students, and your influence on me is enormous. Sir, the advice you gave me will stay with me. We appreciate you, sir; you don't just teach—you prepare us for the road ahead.
