§  is a person with a coherent philosophy as regards the teaching profession, able to adopt the most appropriate contemporary instructional / training strategies / methodology;
§  has in-depth knowledge on educational issues, his/her subject area
§  is a reflective thinker, a professional who is able to carry out a fully-fledged effective curriculum implementation and seeks to optimize teaching learning outcomes /optimal performance in teaching
§  portrays autonomy, has control over professional matters, make sound decisions
§  has problem solving skills; has reflexivity in terms of curriculum implementation (content, needs of learners objectives)
§  has the necessary skills and competences
§  values professional development, makes good use of opportunities for professional growth
§  leadership skills
