The cardinal location of Japan is southeast of South Korea. The absolute location of Japan is 35°N 138°E. A positive impact of that location is that it's kind of far away from the equator but not to far, so it could have the perfect temperature. Japan is found in the continent Asia.

Most of Japan's climate region is temperate. Having a temperate climate means that they have cold winters and warm summers. People of Japan are positively impacted by this because warm summers could be a great place for crops like tomatoes and peppers. But people are also negatively impacted when living in Japan when its humid because it could grow mold quickly.

The most important natural resource in Japan is fish. It is important to Japan because its used a lot when Japan is exporting things. This negatively impacts society because they might overfish and make a fish go extinct. This also helps society because it helps Japan trade with other societies.

Bullet trains are mostly used to transport people to a different location most of the time. Japan uses cargo ships to export most things but they also export things in the air.

An well known type of landform in Japan is their mountains or Mount Fuji which is one of the well known mountains in Japan. This could be a drawback for when they trade since the mountain is near the water so it might make it harder to trade with others. This could impact how they get their goods because there is a big mountain and since most things are carried by boats which go on bodies of water.

The geography of Japan has defiantly impacted the people who live in Japan. Such as how the mountain's in Japan affects them both positively and negatively since its a natural barrier but it makes it harder to travel on sea. Or also how they prepare for the cold winters and hot/warm summers. Having the bullet train could be great when they have to be underground or need fast transportation. But it could also be bad if you rely on it too much and it gets stuck.
