         <title>Meeting Advanced Learners Needs</title>

<li>
<strong>Cluster Group:</strong> It's effective to group students by ability. Students who have similar abilities are able to build off of each others ideas and learning more effectively.&nbsp;</li>
<li>
<strong>Alternative Assignment:</strong> Giving advanced students a more challenging assignment or activity will keep them actively engaged and learning.</li>
<li>
<strong>Teaching to Peers: </strong>Occasionally ask for volunteers who know the material to assist you in teaching their peers.</li>
<li>
<strong>Teach Their Own Lesson:</strong> This can greatly help their comprehension as well as their peers. During this lesson make sure the student that is teaching is explaining to their peers why they are teaching this concept, modeling to them, walking them through an example, as well as having them ask questions and summarize.&nbsp;</li>
<li>
<strong>Join a Higher Class for Specific Subjects:</strong> This provides advanced learners with a challenge as well as new learning opportunities.&nbsp;</li>
<li>
<strong>Skip Grades: </strong>This is a great idea as long as the student is indeed capable as well as motivated. When this happens you should partner the child with a student in the class to help them fit in and make friends.&nbsp;</li>

<br>All 3 of these behaviors need to be interacting with each other to produce gifted behaviors.<br><br>These 3 behaviors happen in certain people, at certain times, and within certain circumstances.&nbsp;<br><br>Schools need to be fostering task commitment and creativity in their students.&nbsp;<br><br><br>

         <title>My Future Classroom</title>

<li>I am going to utilize cluster grouping in my future classroom. I believe this is an amazing strategy that works out for everyone. You are giving students the opportunity to learn with their peers who have similar abilities, this way no one will be bored and no one will feel out of place. This also allows me to go around and give some small group instruction.&nbsp;</li>
<li>I am also going to utilize the process of letting students teach their own lessons. I believe teaching is the next level of comprehension which means if you have students teaching the material to their peers they have the concepts mastered.&nbsp;I believe this will also help all the other students learn as well as sometimes students learn better from their peers. Of course I will only use this strategy occasionally and it will be on a volunteer basis. </li>
