Singapore also had political connections with Southern Thailand as a ruler of Singapore married a Malay Princess from Southern Thailand in the past. Singapore also had powerful and rich people to hire a carver to carve inscripts on a stone that is now currently known as the Singapore Stone. Singapore also had military defense in the past such as using arrow heads as their weapons to defend themselves from wars, attacks, etc.
