The fact that native Americans lived here and were basically invaded by the English and were being treated as outcasts and toys in their own home and on their own lands really shows the power of privilege. Even with me, my parents lived in Mexico and even I see that Mexico still struggles with colonialism/imperialism. Especially with the native population being put into small towns and generally light-skinned or white-skinned Mexicans are more well off in almost every life.
