She started multiple programs, all of which bring awareness to issues concerning the environment. She has made significant discoveries in the scientific field and broke down gender barriers. I really resonate with her because her morals closely align with mine in terms of environmental motives and values as she respects and cherishes mother nature. I found this artwork on Pinterest, and decided to choose this one specifically because of the beautiful and light pastel colours used, which speaks for Jane herself. She is a gentle and passionate human being. I also added my most memorable quote of hers, underneath, because of how universally applicable it is. Ignorance and lack of care, especially for the environment, will lead us to continue towards the path of destruction/ end of the earth.

She also advocates for food sovereignty and ecofeminism which is something I have taken an interest to. She was able to take two issues, and solve them both. Her quote could not have been worded any more perfectly. While people value materialistic things, we fail to appreciate the simplest things we already have, one of them being nature. No price tag can depict as to how much one life is worth, which is another added beauty to nature...

The water treatment plant where they normally get their water, ages with time and can cause issues with water advisory's and boil water warnings being posted. A lot of the times these issues don't get solved because of how remote these communities are and lack of accessibility, so they are often told to only drink bottled water. This issue is something that motivates me as an environmentalist and an engineer, considering as it is located right in my country and community, I want to take action and help with the solution.

The artists were able to capture the many problems "man" has caused to the environment, in the name of "fashion" or "trends".  It made me extremely upset, and realize how much of a negative impact humanity as a whole has left on the environment. While we may have advanced/ altered things to our favour and convenience, we do not pause to think about the effects it has on others. Even the way it was presented with the music starting off on a slow rhythm and eventually speeding up, basically matching the "mood" of the actions going on in the videos.
