My friend invited me to the garden that he had been working on for the past three years. So I decided to take the chance to go, even though it was a 6-hour trip. When I arrived, it was pretty late, but that didn't stop us from looking at his farm. I'm surprised how he had a section for each type of crop. He decided to show me the lettuce one first. I was amazed at how fresh and healthy the plants were, so we decided to harvest the unharvested ones. Then we went to the cucumber section. All plants were extremely green and healthy but still unharvested so we harvested them. I asked him what his secret was he told me that he used fruit skin (if not edible) to compost, and he used that compost to keep the plant healthy and hydrated. Then we went to the tomato section. He was planting them in boots! I was confused and just thought to ignore that fact and we went indoors and made a salad we enjoyed together, and I went back
home. And I said to myself that it was worth the 6-hour trip.
