You are the captain of your school’s sports CCA team. The NSG season is about to begin, but your team is facing major challenges:

1. Some teammates lack motivation and skip training.

2. There is tension between experienced players and new members.

3. The team recently lost an important match, affecting morale.

4. Senior players are frustrated that newer players are making mistakes.

5. New players feel ignored and hesitate to participate.

6. The coach has asked you to step up as a leader and help the team improve unity and performance.

Your performing arts CCA just completed a competition/showcase, but it didn’t go as planned.

1. The team made mistakes on stage, and some members feel embarrassed or disappointed.

2. Others are blaming each other for errors instead of focusing on improvement.

3. Morale is low, and some members are considering quitting.

After the performance, you notice:

1. Some members are avoiding rehearsals, feeling discouraged.

2. A few members are arguing about whose fault the mistakes were.

3. CCA members lacks enthusiasm for the next performance.

You are the CCA leader of your uniform group OR club. Your team is preparing for an important school event (e.g., a performance, a competition, or an exhibition).

One week before the event, a big problem happens:

1. One of your team members, who had an important role, suddenly cannot take part.

2. Some members are not helping and seem uninterested.

3. Your teacher is worried that your team won’t be ready in time.

Scenario:

As the event gets closer, you notice:

1. There is no one to do the missing job, and time is running out.

2. Some members are skipping practice or meetings.

3. You feel stressed because everything is not going as planned.

When losing, we should support each other and motivate them to do their best.

Feeling stressed is normal, we should never give up.

try to tell them that the instructor isn’t going to scold you during CCA for making a mistake because you are simply learning. Maybe we can get some sweets and give them out to students who help to encourage them to help? :O We might also make a checklist for everyone to use so that they can check off what they have done!!!!! :3

Question 2) Me and my partner will handle conflicts by telling them to stop fighting and blaming each other.We will also tell them that everyone did their best and did very good.We can also tell them to do deep breathing excersises and help each other to improve.

Question 3) We can ask them to practice their dance at home and make sure that they get the steps right if they do not know the steps.We can also ask them to never give up.

I will make sure that everybody is focused on their task and make sure I’m focused on my task too.

I can take deep breaths and ask everybody to keep quiet so everyone can be focused.

What can I do to make sure all tasks are complete? - I can do it slowly to not overwhelm my and my team’s brain, we will slowly but surely do it.

How can I stay calm and focused as a leader? - I will give everyone something to do so that one person does not get a lot of things to do but one person barely does anything.

I will help my team to stay motivated by giving them compliments of what they did very well on and to be confident and not care about other peoples opinion.I will also ask them why they are skipping practise and explain to them that it is important toattend so that we can improve on what needs to be improved.I will make sure that I changed ‘I can’t do it to I can’t do it YET.Having a growth mindset is very important if not we will be sad everyday.if there are conflicts,I can resolve it by de escalating the situation and explain that we have to be nice to one another.I can stay focused by focusing everyone else’s opinion and perspective(for disagreements etc’

1. If they feel embarrassed/disappointed we could encourage them to keep trying by saying: At least you did your best and everyone makes mistakes no one is perfect.

2. Tell them to stop and if they are just going to keep blaming each other then no one could improve as performing arts uses teamwork.

3. Tell them to think positively and to not stop there if not they would not have achieved their full potential in performing.

   Scenario

   1. Tell them to not feel discouraged and they should never give up.

   2. Tell them to stop arguing if not we would not have enough time to practice for the next performance as they would just waste time by arguing

   3. Tell them if they practice more they would get better and eventually meet their expectations.

      1. Work together as a team and encourage one another to build better teamwork.

      3. Tell some jokes in between to keep them entertained while not interrupting too much.
