The Independence arround the Proclamation of the Indonesian Independence, 17 August 1945, maybe not known by the society. While actually, those historical events cannot be seprated from the way before and during the Independence Proclamation.

Declaring an Indepence, needs a lot of effort from the making of BPUPKI, Badan Penyelidik Usaha Persiapan Kemerdekaan Indonesia, and of PPKI, Panitia Persiapan Kemerdekaan Indonesia. In those times not only getting to win the Indepence from the allies and Japan, choosing the proclamator and having the base of a country needed a long use of time. Some of the important people behind the Indepence said that, "Indonesia wasn't ready".

Some also asked the brief history behind the founding of the Red-White Flag made by Fatimah. Where it was actually, two seperated cloth were given by one of the officer from Japan, Officer Hitoshi Shimizu, the head of Sedenbu, Department of Propaganda. It was then knitted into one big cloth that was colored Red-White and was raised during the Proclamation day of the Independence of Indonesia.

Also, in making the transcript of the word that will be spoken in the Proclamation of the Independence, it holds a history. It was spreaded to the society, "Kami Bangsa Indonesia dengan ini menyatakan Kemerdekaan Indonesia.
Hal-hal yang mengenai pemindahan kekuasaan dll, diselenggarakan dengan cara seksama dan dalam tempo yang sesingkat-singkatnya

Djakarta, hari 17 bulan 08 tahun 45
Atas nama bangsa Indonesia,
Soekarno-Hatta". While actually it wasn't. It was what been read but not was in the heads of the thoughts of the leaders. They hid something and tore off the actual transcript. This is the real and actual testamen* Soekarno's Testamen 1-3.
Other than Soekarno and Hatta, people behind the proclamation is Sutan Syahrir, Tan Malaka, Ahmad Subarjo and many other Heroes,

We thank you for you spirit and bravery in fighting for our Indepence!
