I hold a PhD in Organizational Development and Leadership and a Master's in Human Services with an emphasis on Child Development. I also have a California Teacher Credential Program Director Permit.

I was a Child Development Administrator for Corona-Norco Family YMCA for 15 years. I was responsible for State-Funded infant, toddler, preschool, and school-age programs across Riverside County. I also created fee-based programs within the organization. 

I have been in the child development field for over 30 years. I started out opening my in-home childcare center and moved out 15 years later to center-based. I began working at the YMCA as an instructional aide and became a Child Development Administrator. 

I have received many awards of recognition for my contribution to the community and youth in the Corona-Norco area from Congressman Calvert, the Mayor of Corona, Senator John J Benoit, Assemblyman Jeff Miller, and, of course, my CEO of the YMCA. 

Through hard work and dedication to the field, I have made a difference in the lives of children, families, the community, and staff. My passion is raising leaders and giving back. I enjoy sowing seeds in the lives of others.
