I chose a garden. To me there is nothing that could show more importance of plants in this society other than food. We need these plants to survive, we need the nutrients only found in these plants to thrive. The fear is that our soils are being depleted at such a rapid rate the plants will get to a point where they will no longer provide the nutrients needed, as they are not receiving the nutrients they need. Not only do these plants provide us with food, they clean the air, and help to heal our atmosphere.

I chose this video after watching quite a few different videos due to the amount of detail in a short amount of time. This video not only tells us the process, it gets more in-depth by even giving us the different reactions during the separate phases. It also gives us information on what takes place with different tissues in the plants during photosynthesis.

When asked to find one type of land plant we discussed that lives here in Georgia, the first one I thought of was Kudzu. Kudzu or (Pueraria montana) is an Angiosperm, which is self cloning. This explains the rapid growth of the plant.
Image found here: https://steemit.com/homestead/@flusterfarm/would-you-could-you-kudzu

Okay so after rereading the instructions I saw that you stated an image of a plant that is ONLY found in Georgia. I did not want to do away with my previous example, but do want full credit so I will be adding the example I found of a Betula megrelica or Global tree, which is also an angiosperm and under the category of threatened. From what I've read it is found only in North Georgia.

Image found here: http://globaltrees.org/threatened-trees/trees/betula-megrelica/

Prior to reading about this I assumed the polar icecaps would be in the Tundra Biome, however I found this area stands alone. I believe due to global warming this is the most endangered, and will cause a ripple effect to other ecosystems.
http://www.thewildclassroom.com/biomes/arctictundra.html

Finding an image of population growth during the revolution seemed to be unattainable, for me. However, I was able to find this image showing the spread of humans. How their movements changed the world. Also, the villages that made up the core of the population. These seemed to stay close to water, as they would need water sources for their farming.
https://www.slideshare.net/darkyla/neolithic-revolution

This is a horse-powered thresher from 1881. This machine separates grain from plants by the process of beating. This make the process much faster and gave people the advancement to feed more in a shorter amount of time with less workers. I chose this because it helped in mass production and made grain available on a larger scale.
https://courses.lumenlearning.com/boundless-worldhistory/chapter/the-agricultural-revolution/

I chose nicotine in tobacco as my most influential chemical derived from plants. While it doesn't hold positive effects to humans except as an insecticide, it is extremely influencing to humans. If not why continue to use this harmful chemical, even though we know it is deadly. This isn't just the older people who are already addicted using this product, this is young people picking up for the first time (cigarettes, or vaping) even though they know the effects. I'd say that show a pretty high influence. I quit smoking 3 years ago and it's the best thing I've ever done.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2oHkTR4fXhE

Aquaponic Faming minimizes the use of water while allowing year-round harvesting. It also completely eliminates harmful waste products that would otherwise end up in landfills.
