My expectation for myself is to gain as much knowledge as possible to implement across all grade levels and content.

In my current position I would like to have teachers implement comprehension strategies even though the purpose of the class is the use of AR program. My future plan would be to support and coach reading teachers and intervention teachers with a focus on implementing strategies that increase student engagement and joy of learning

My expectation from this class this semester is to build my expertise and confidence as a literacy expert. My expectation for you Dr. Galindo, is guidance through the process of the assignments. This course is relevant to my career because I plan to be a Reading Specialist in 1.5 years.

My expectation from this class is to just be a better teacher when teaching how comprehension . I hope I learn from Dr. Galindo more strategies maybe tips on how students can comprehend even when they can barely read. This class is relevant to me because I would like to become a reading specialist for upper grade levels.

I have the expectation that after each course in our grad program that I will be a better reading teacher, bit-by-bit. I have learned so much already and I am excited to see where we end up at the end of the program. I don't know how to actually say what I expect from you. I hadn't thought of that before. I guess what I expect out of everyone is just that you will be awesome, and we will all learn great things. The course is relevant because I teach reading.
