A stereotype is basically putting people into categories ex like saying that the dumb kid or that is the smart kid. It grouping people based on what there like and that can be OK but sometimes not. If someone is being stereotypical it means that there giving people a title based on what they know about someone your just being mean, you can stand up to this by saying have you even meet that person or you cant judge a book by it cover.

A stereotype is a widely held but fixed and oversimplified image or idea of a particular type of person or thing. Some examples are by stereotyping we infer that a person has a whole range of characteristics and abilities that we assume all members of that group have. You can stand up for them by saying "don't let anyone make fun of you or make judges about you just of how you appear" or something in the words a long that.

An example of stereotypes can be someone with a characteristics that stand out from the rest. For example, a stereotype can be the "smart" kid.

A stereotype is a judgement about one particular group of people and it assumes that if you are of that race, gender, religion you have everything that they have. Some examples of stereotypes that people make is that if you are white than you are privlaged but there more than 40% of the homeless population is white so that is not a true stereotype. If you see someone being sterotypical than you could say god made you the way you are and you were meant to be that way so I think you are perfect the way you are.
