But we agree on some things. We both think global warming substantially worsen before possible improving. Technological innovation will continue at roughly the same page as the last few years if not faster. English and the internet are going to become far more spread and Icelandic might become a secondary language in Iceland. In education the status quo will remain showing up to class and listening to a teacher. The global fertility rate will drop as the global middle class continues to expand. Micro plastics will continue polluting the air. More of the world will embrace liberal democracie though certain nations will remain autocratic regimes. We believe things like the LGBTQ community will get more accepted as it has been in the past few years. Today's politics are already really controversial and are getting more controversial by the year. So if this continues till the year 2120 politics will be the bane of our existence and will usher in an all-out nuclear war. The constant flurry of controversial media is building up unrest within many nations. Kim Jong Un, a populist and autocratic ruler, has a military nuclear weapons program and is now equipped with an arsenal of approximately 30 to 40 nuclear warheads which brings no solace to the rest of the world. If this continues in the near future it will be intractable to achieve world peace. The economy here in Iceland is going really well because of foreign desires and demands of certain products like cod and eiderdown. In the future, Iceland will probably thrive on renewable energy and will use geothermal power plants which is good for the economy and mainly the environment. We think that with how far technology has come, many problems have arisen with it, and most of them are insoluble. Things like the Facebook scandal, where data from millions of facebook users was being stored without their consent is a good example of something negative that has come with the introduction of the internet. We think that we have only seen a fraction of the internet's capacity, there is so much we haven’t seen and that has caused social unrest. However, the internet has opened many doors regarding communication. Social media like Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat have become a vital part of our lives and improved communication greatly. We think it will continue to do so as it is one of the greatest innovations of all time.

Many of the environmental problems are intractable and if we do not act now they will become insoluble. Environmental problems are on the wrong path to a brighter future and they are only a fraction of all the problems in the world. People do not seem to be acting the right way to this
crisis and that is why it is easy to be pessimistic. The technology in the world has been growing and developing substantially over the past few years and is slowly taking over. With technology came smartphones and with smartphones came social media. Social media has had a huge impact on the world especially over the past few years. It has had a positive and negative impact on people. It has for example in many ways aggravated the way people communicate and the language we use has changed a lot very quickly. The future is questionable.

Valgerður and Freyja https://padlet.com/irisragnarsd/hstyeiliwm844w3w/wish/1851584703 How education has develop over the last few centuries has hardly any changed at all and looking to the future there is no to little hope for it to changes if we look at our past, one of the only difference now is there are computers, smart phones and social networks but that has done nothing to the methods that are used in classrooms today, it could be that the school systems are stagnated because all that kids learn today are more or less literate.
Xenophobia has been substantially growing mostly on the internet, in tourist places and with immigrants but hopefully by showing more inclusively in TV-show and kids cartoons then people with be more used to foreigners in amid of the community they will adequately used to them by 2121. communication will have evolved much more rapidly than ever before because of globalization and the spread of the internet. There will be fewer languages. English, chinese, arabic, and spanish/portuguese will be the most spoken and most influential languages in the world. 

Social issues will possibly be massively improved upon. The spread of the internet has allowed people to form progressive spaced that bleed into general culture and spread their values. If this coincides with a positive development in the global economy then _xenophobia_ is sure to decrease, as instability and war-propaganda are the leading causes of xenophobia.

The environment will either be in ruins with most low-lying areas submerged and once-in-a-lifetime disasters happening almost monthly or it will be flourishing with people having found a way to eliminate the _status quo_ that prioritize profit over the well-being of the people and their environments.  It is also _vital_ that we _substantially_ change our lifestyles to accomodate the environment, for example, reducing consumption of meat, plastics, and more.
