         <description><![CDATA[<div>You will have two opportunities to take the AES Reading and Writing, Listening, and Seminar Exams. <br><br>If you fail <em>both </em>times, you will then enter the official re-sit procedure, which will happen in the term <em>after</em> you take the 2nd attempt (term '4'). For example, if you started in September and fail the March and June exams, you would need to return in August to sit them again. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Some universities have agreed to accept AES results as proof of English language ability. They often require 60% overall. This is different for different universities. <br>However, some universities require IELTS as proof of English Language ability. This means that you need to pass your AES course and also ensure that you have the required IELTS results. </div>]]></description>

Failing AES means that you will have failed all of the Foundation programme. You will need to discuss with your teacher and the Head of AES to make sure that you get this in. <br>You may be allowed to submit again, but there will be a cap on the grades and you will need to have this agreed by the Head of AES. </div>]]></description>
