After taking samples of the human skeletal remains of three tombs of different typology, they were analyzed by the radiocarbon method (C14). It was verified that all of them were dated, approximately, between the end of the 10th century and the beginning of the 11th century AD. It was interpreted that the different typology presented by the tombs was due to social and economic differences that would affect the individuals buried in them and their families. The analysis of the funeral ritual employed allowed to estimate that the population was of Jewish origin. The medieval period and the Jewish origin of the population allowed to classify to the deposit like a Sephardic cemetery. Chronological dating is the oldest Sephardic Jewish cemetery in Europe that has been excavated to this day.
