In the virtual tour of the house, the platform that holds the condiments/pots looks high. This can potentially cause a elderly to fall off, if they lose their balance when they are reaching for the woks or pots at the top.

For the storage of the utensils, I think they can build/buy a small drawer to store them. Then place the drawer at the middle of the dining table since that is where they usually dined at. This will make it convenient for them.
