They are popular for small-scale production and processes requiring high flexibility.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>2. Additionally, their broad chemical compatibility and reduced reliance on single-use materials make them ideal for complex processes and more environmentally sustainable. For industries focused on mass production of a single product or processes requiring precise, controlled environments, stainless steel bioreactors offer reliability and scalability.</p><p><br/></p><p>Therefore, our team would say that <strong>fixed-in-place stainless steel bioreactors</strong> are better than disposable bioreactors.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The main disadvantage of fixed in place bioreactors is that it has a lack of impeller, which could lead to variants in attention from inside the bioreactor, making it more challenging to observe the cell growth. </p><p>The second disadvantage of fixed in place is that  cell harvesting is not possible until the end of cell culturrre, making it much more daunting to observe the growth of the cell culture. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Flexibility:</strong> Fixed in place is less flexible compared to disposable as the plant footprint for fixed in place bioreactor is made up of fixed structures, it is less flexible and takes longer to build.</p><p><strong>Risk of contamination:</strong> It has higher risk of contamination due to improper sterilization. The line of work may be significantly impacted by downtime, a protracted investigation, and the requirement to find other manufacturing locations.</p><p><strong>Environmental footprint:</strong> Resources used for Clean-In-Place and Sanitization-In-Place have larger environmental footprint than the disposable bioreactor which does not require cleaning.</p><p><strong>Turnaround time: </strong>Longer turnaround time between batches as they require CIP/SIP in place, which make it less effective than disposable bioreactor.</p>]]></description>
